It is our long standing tradition that in FDP Christmas parties we play Mario Party 8 for Wii... so this year we decided to actually cosplay from it

twinfools asked me why I like Waluigi so much - he tends to be pretty unloved and overlooked character... and what can I say... I picked him originally because he wears purple, my favorite color (and since no one else likes him he's always available) and he kinda grew on me.
This is probably as good time as any to say that I'm not officially a member of FDP anymore, I haven't been since AE. It's not because I don't love my friends, I do (and I love having so many aunts and uncles for my daughter), in many ways I feel that I'm closer to my friends now... It was just that since my daughter was born I've had so much less time to dedicate to cosplay and therefore I've been cosplaying less - I didn't feel right being in a cosplay group if I wasn't actually planning to cosplay with them. Our tastes have drifted apart quite a bit and our plans have been different for a while now. Now I'm much happier and don't feel guilty about not taking part in the group activities
