I think we planned to do the actual princess costumes somewhere around the time when we decided to do our Mario Kart biker princesses. When it came time to prepare for Aki-con this year we decided to just go for it :D

Around the same time I asked my daughter (almost 3 years old now!) what she wanted to be for Halloween, hoping she'd say "a princess" so I could get her into a princess Peach costume, but she said "fairy" and very specifically "green fairy" so that was end of that plan :D Once she has her mind set there's no changing it, so green fairy it was... Since Aki-con was only few days away from Halloween she got to wear her costume all weekend long.

Both of your costumes are just too beautiful! I think you both nailed the princesses head on. :) And I just have to add that your daughter is just too cute. Her Green Fairy costume is just so charming. I couldn't stop smiling at her at Aki Con! My brother and I found it adorable how she loved his Mickey Mouse costume so much. You've got a major Mickey Mouse fan on your hands there, eh? ;')

Haha yeah she was so exited to see Mickey Mouse and everyone was just "cheaper than Disneyland!" :XD: We had a great time :)
