Sakura-con 2012 is over!

I wish I could say I had a great time, however I was pretty sick and my daughter (who still came with us) even worse

HOWEVER it wasn't awful either, in fact without the sickness factor I think it would have been a great con. I loved my costumes, favourite being this: Princess Daisy in her Mario Kart biker outfit.

Me and my friends, we have a long love-hate relationship with Daisy due to some heated times with Mario Party... But she's ginger, she's spunky and when I saw her biker outfit when myself and *jj-dreamworldz were playing way too much Mario Kart over the Christmas holidays, I whined and begged long enough till she agreed to cosplay these costumes with me to Sakura-con.

Very happy with these outfits - everything you see here is made by us. *jj-dreamworldz made the patterns for the boot covers which we then sewed, we made the bodysuits together, I sewed gloves and we casted resin jewels for our crowns which we painstakingly also crafted.
