Aki-con was a blast!

A little bit more chaotic than last year due to growth and being on two floors instead of one. Chaotic yet chill... I love Aki-con to death - lazying in our room, in the lobby, in the pool, in the restaurant with Katie , at dealers... Cosplay happened, notably our Arcobaleno cosplay group on Saturday. I also wore my Mokona kigurumi on Friday and at times on Saturday since it was the most comfortable garment I had to go down to the pool with (it's practically a bathrobe). And wore Gokudera for our 'special' 8059 cosplay with ~jj-dreamworldz on Saturday and Friday. I even got my camera out for few photos with ~Weatherstone and *VandorWolf on Sunday morning.

• My REBORN! fanart book I bought - expensive but damn worth every penny... many cosplays already planned

• Lazying in the pool with ~jj-dreamworldz in our Varia bikinis


• Gossiping about the wedding couple and filling in the whole story bit by bit (we saw them arrive and the groom getting arrested)


• Our fab waitress Katie at the restaurant and the dessert party on Friday evening... mm... pie...


• Free coffee and tea. Seriously, best thing ever.


• $1 portraits me and ~jj-dreamworldz got done on Sunday


• Canada vs America auction on Sunday

As for next year - only confirmed cons for me are Sakura-con and Anime Evolution. Tsukino-con most likely won't be possible, I would love to do Steamcon next year too, and I'll have to see what the situation is for Aki-con closer to the time. Till next time...
